Serious 3-Vehicle Crash Jams Rush-Hour Traffic On Rt. 50

A serious 3-car crash crash caused traffic delays on Rt. 50 in Prince George’s County Wednesday afternoon, April 3.

The crash was reported on the westbound side near Collington Road in Bowie shortly before 4 p.m., the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Dept. said.

The 3-car collision caused serious injuries and trapped at least one patient, the squad said.

One westbound shoulder and three of five traffic lanes were closed, according to MDOT.
